The engine is a 1965, 289 Cubic Inch with Edelbrock cam (type unknown) with an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor (600 cfm), mounted on an Edelbrock F4B intake manifold (similar to the current 7121 manifold) and Hooker 6109 headers, 3 row Copper Radiator.
The transmission is a 1967, 4 speed Ford Toploader, wide ratio with Hurst Indy shifter; code on ID plate is "RUG E ".
The differental is an 8 inch Ford Rearend with 10-inch diameter x 1.25 wide drum brakes. The readend ratio is 3.25, there is no ID plate on the rear end.
Front disc brakes; 11-inch diameter rotors, four piston calipers, from a 1965/66 Mustang.
The wheels are 1967/8 Ford style slotted steel with 4-1/8 offset, 6 inches wide, 5 lug wheels with P235/60SR14 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
Power convertible top and 2 speed windshield wipes
Louvers in hood and trunk, Grant steering wheel and Blaupunkt Radio/CD player. Radio in Dash and 10 disc CD changer in Trunk.
Additions, changes and repairs I have made to the car:
Moved the battery from the trunk to the original position in the engine compartment, the car now starts better and the electrical components including the Covertible Top seems to work better.
Replaced the master cylinder from the stock single reservoir, to a dual reservoir system for safety. The master cylinder I used was from a 1967 Mustang. I also added a switch to the brake pedal to operate the brake lights.
Relocated the two main wiring harnesses, which were cut and routed outside the engine compartment by the pervious owner, (one harness was routed next to the front wheel in the fender well area and the other into the firewall and back out), have been return back to the stock routing.
Added filler board to the trunk area and a Trunk mats.
Replaced clutch, Throw-out Bearing and resurfaced Flywheel.
Replaced the damaged oil pan and replace most of the engine gaskets. No more drips on garage floor!
Repaired hole and other damage in the engine compartment. Than I repainted re-painted the engine compartment the original black color.
Installed CD unit which came with car but was not installed and add a windshield antenna to get the AM/fM radio working.
Installed an Alternator in place of the existing Generator.
Relocated the original gas filler to inside the trunk. This modification allows me to fill the car fast with no spills. More Info
Re-built main under dash wiring harness. NO more bare and broken wires.
Add the correct under dash interior and rear license lights.
Repaired the center transmission support mount and floor board which was cut way to work with the tailshaft from a 1967 Fairlane (shifter located to Far back) that was installed in the car. With the addition of the correct Falcon tailshaft, mounting support bracket and a Hurst Comp Plus Shifter, these repairs allows the shifter to enter the interior in the stock position. These changes also allowed me to move the console back to its original position.
Added the hoses, nozzle and washerbag to car to get the windshield washing system working.
Installed a new carpet and had the drive seat repaired.
Designed and build louver cover / drain system for trunk and engine compartment. I can now wash the car and drive it in the rain, keeping the drunk dry and the engine compartment clean. See Pictures
Rebuilt the front disc brake system, new rotors, brake pads, hoses, metal lines and rebuilt the brake calipers.
Replaced the existing Rims and Tires with Cragar SS, 14 inch diameter, 7 inch wide, 4 inch backspacing rim and installed P215/60SR14 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
Restored the dash by replacing the after market radio that was installed in the car. Added a patch panel, repaint and then installed the stock radio both purchase from E-bay and obtained and replated the radio plastic. See the before and after pictures.
Add after market radio under dash and then recloacted the engine gage set under radio housing
Add new brake rotors, rebuilt the calipater with stainless steel pistons, hoses and new front brake pads.
Replaced oil pump, after noting the oil pressure started to become erratic.

Rebuilt the calipater with stainless steel pistons and new front brake pads.
Replaced current radiator with 3 row Aluminum Radiator to improve overall cooling.
Brian and I with other Northern California Falcon Club Member cruised to Portland, OR for the 2008 Pacific Regional on Saturday, then on to Woodburn, OR for the Ford Fever Show and All Ford Drags drags on Sunday.
Reconidition the rear brake system, new pads, wheel cylinders and hoses.
Replaced stock 2 speed windshild wiper motor and switch with a F150 wiper motor and intermitted Switch. Wiper now work real good compared to old stock unit.
Replaced fresh air inlet duct that enters the Heater.
